its came along way from what it was, but soon it will be taking on a drastic change, i went and picked up a link-pin beam drum to drum on the cheap within the next month or so i should have some money to start working on it and get that bastard under the bus, im gonna lower it with adjusters and flip the spindles as well as narrow it 4 inches so it will be setting right in the front. i will have to tub the front a couple of inches but thats no big deal

i finished building the beam (-4.5"!!) for it and am waiting on the stuff to put it all together, i bought the bushings from a guy in cali ( www.RynosDubShop.com ) and the brake stuff and adjusters from cip1 so it should be down in the front in about 2 weeks!! i still have to flip the spindles but i have some time to do that and paint all the stuff before the parts get here its gonna be just straight nasty like this one

i ordered some NOS wheel cyl rebuild kits from denton, they were supposed to fit the front of an early bus but it turns out they fit the back of a 55-71 bus, im fucked pissed he need to get his shit together, besides being a horrible boss (that i put up with to be able to work on VWs for a living) he cant even send me the right parts, he even labeled his samba ad saying they are for the FRONT www.thesamba.com/vw/classifieds/detail.php?id=877507

he couldnt get them and said his source for the cyl itself was only german, like 69 a piece and i need 4 of them, i gave Harrell bug parts a call and he had them new Brazilian cylinders for 20 a piece i ordered those and they should be here by the end of the week
a little advice, if anybody on here ever lowers a split bus, get the 64-67 spindles, they are so much easier to get parts for and by far cheaper, but i got the whole thing for such a good deal it didnt matter
