Replaced the master cylinder and pass. front hard brake line. Could not get it out of the old M/C. Waiting for the ball and chain to get home so she can start pumping(the m/c dirty birds). Also got a New speedocable. Now I will know how fast I am going.

Okay so this week sucked Thursday after dropping me off to work Prerna (Prayer-Na) calls me and tells me that there is smoke and noises coming from the front driver side wheel. Earlier in the week I had to replace the axle on that side cause the stub that goes thru the spindle decided to snap off. I have never seen one do this before. I figured the wheel bearing was a goner cause I drove it a day like this. No big deal went to the PAP and got another spindle got it replaced and all is good. So yesterday I went to pick Prerna up from work and on the way home the driver side bearing decided monkey see monkey do and took a dump on me. I can't wait to tare this car apart to build my 4x4 wannabe 79 Rabbit.

I some how magically make my battery drain and not take a charge of a wall charger and the generator light comes on after I turn the car off and take the key out.

Okay sorry I didnt post this earlier. The brakes finally started pumping up in the beetle. I think I got a bad batch of fluid or something.
Here is my new problem. The Beetle will not charge. I have tested the generator and its charging at 12.5v at idle. I put a battery charger on the battery and it wouldn't charge past 25%. I put the charger on another battery and it charged it. Okay here is the wierd thing about all this. When I turn the car off keys out of ignition the gen light comes on. I poked around today and deleted some stuff and the problem is still there. I notice quite a few sparks when I reconnect the battery cables a little more than normal. I am thinking there is a short somewhere. I drove it in all the rain Sunday

thats great about your brakes man, just follow some wires from a diagram and you will eventually find a problem
i helped nick pull the motor out of his new (to him) c-10 to rebuild and then he helped me do a little more on my top, and i also started the patching the floor in the bus under the rear seat, busy day indeed
